On Friday, the Don Honorio Ventura State University held a simple blessing of its renovated Multi-Purpose Covered Court following a mass celebrated by Bacolor Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Emil Guiao. The event was attended by DHVSU officials, administrators, employees and students.

Also known as the University Gymnasium, the air-conditioned facility has two floors with a total seating capacity of 3,350. It also boasts of newly-installed FIBA wood flooring and a state-of-the-art sound system.

Located at the DHVSU Extension Lot, the revamped gym is primarily a sports facility that could house indoor sports events; it also serves as a venue for the University’s co- and extra-curricular activities.
