Virtual culminating activity for 18-day campaign to End VAW held
On December 10, 2020, the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) of the Don Honorio Ventura State University conducted a virtual culminating activity to formally close the University’s 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women through Google Meet.
Dr. Enrique G. Baking, University President, gave the opening remarks, after which the University’s Vice Presidents expressed words of commitment in support of the cause. Ms. Nharleen Santos-Miller, Chief GAD Specialist from the Philippine Commission on Women served as guest speaker.
The virtual occasion comes after almost two weeks of activities showing the University’s support to the campaign.
