Central Luzon Represent: Arki stud places 2nd in nat’l poster painting contest

Dave B. Salenga, a Bachelor of Science in Architecture student at Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), once again waved the maroon and gold flag by winning the silver medal for the Pintar: Poster Painting Contest during the State University and Colleges (SUC) Fair held at Western Mindanao State University, Zamboanga City, from July 9 to 11.

As the official representative of the Central Luzon Region in the competition, Salenga’s winning artwork reflected the theme “Weaving Culture and Innovations for a Transformative, Resilient, and Globally Recognized Philippine Higher Education.” His creativity and idea impressed the judges.

Salenga stands proudly alongside Dr. Eddiebal Layco, DHVSU's CIRPS Technical Staff, and Mr.Rowell Cruz, Assistant Director of the Office of Culture and the Arts, during the recognition of winners.
