DHVSU welcomes Cambodia Ministry of Tourism Director for Professional Training for potential collabs
"The kindness of Cambodia will be welcomed by Filipino hospitality through Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU).”
These words were remarked by Engr. Reden M. Hernandez, Vice President for Academic Affairs, concurrent OIC-Executive Vice President and OIC-Vice President for Administration and Finance, during the Exploratory Talk on International Collaborations with Mr. Vander Mean, Director of the Tourism Professional Training Department of the Ministry of Tourism in Cambodia, held at the University Hostel on April 3, 2024.
This activity aimed to craft possible programs and activities for tourism and hospitality management, research, extension, and training, aligning with the vision, mission, and goals of the University to provide quality education.
The program was spearheaded by the Office for International Partnerships and Programs (OIPP) headed by Dr. Mildred Crisostomo, in collaboration with the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) headed by Ms. Kathleen Joyce M. Coronel, the Extension Services Office (ESO) headed by Engr. Rhoderick M. Favorito, the Training Services Office (TSO) headed by Dr. Dynah D. Soriano, the Research Management Office (RMO) headed by Dr. Robin B. Dimla, and DHVSU Apalit Campus (DAC) headed by Dr. Normando C. Simon.
Also present at the event were the center managers, select faculty and staff, as well as the Director of Office for Student Affairs, Dr. Gloria Gigante, and the top management of DHVSU, including Dr. Enrique G. Baking, University President; Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training & Extension Services; and Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services and concurrent Dean of the Graduate School.
