Virtually presenting DHVSU’s GAD milestones through a Zoom meeting, Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services and DHVSU GAD focal persons, highlighted the university's commitment to championing Student Affairs and Services (SAS) projects and advocacies, always attributed to GAD.
Quiambao featured the highlights and accomplishments of DHVSU in advocating GAD which includes the End Violence Against Women (EVAW) crusade, DHVSU-GAD journey anchored to the core values and strategy framework of the university, the “Orange-It Day” scheduled every first Friday of the month, and the “Purple Wednesday” every March in support of the annual celebration of Women’s Month, and Honorian terms created for GADvocacy.
DHVSU was invited as a representative of Luzon to share its practices at the conference, becoming an institution to be benchmarked for its GAD initiatives.

With the theme “Systems and Anticipatory Thinking for Sustainable SAS,” the conference served as preparation for PAPSAS practitioners to meet the expectations of the new generation of students.
Leading the in-person delegation from DHVSU were Dr. Gloria Gigante, the university's Director for Student Affairs and Services and PAPSAS President of Region 3, along with Christopher Sicat, a member of the Board of Directors of PAPSAS Region 3, and Hielene Hernandez, Coordinator of the Office of Student Affairs and Adviser to the University Student Council, respectively.
