DHVSU ADVISORY NO. 13
Another employee of Don Honorio Ventura State University has been confirmed positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) on September 1, 2020. The said employee is now under isolation and will be transferred in a recognized medical facility. Necessary actions including contact tracing is carried out through proper coordination with the LGU and other concerned units in the area.
Further, the University's Medical Team conducts monitoring with the employees who had close contact with the infected person.
With this new case, DHVSU reiterates its commitment to remain vigilant and rigorous in implementing strict precautionary measures to ensure that no new cases will surface in the University. As specified in Advisory 11, DHVSU has already conducted in-house preventive measures to mitigate the possible spread of the virus.
In addition, work operations in the Main and Extension Campuses have been temporarily suspended. Resumption of University services will be on September 14, 2020.
In this period of uncertainty, DHVSU asks for the continued support, understanding, and cooperation of everyone in delivering its duties and responsibilities to its stakeholders. The University also requests for everyone to keep calm in dealing with this difficult situation.
